We just spent a whole week with my mom who was visiting us here in Champaign for the first time. We had so much fun showing her around our new town, including Anna's classroom and our church.
One day we drove to Indianapolis to visit the Children's Museum there. What a place! It was so huge and there were so many things to see and do, I think the girls were a little overwhelmed at first. But once we got to the preschool area they both jumped right into the activities.

Norah loved playing in the sand. She always has, but this sand table was a little bit different. She could have stayed there the whole afternoon I think, just scooping and pouring.

This was fun too. Playing in the water and fishing with a magnetic fishing pole.

The highlight of the visit for Anna was this exhibit. It was called "Barbie: The Fashion Experience." She really enjoys playing with Barbies right now, so this was perfect for her. They had a whole "vault" of old Barbies on display, so my mom enjoyed showing us the ones she had as a little girl.

Snack break!

We got to see a short play about Winnie the Pooh. Live theater is a totally new experience for the girls, and it was fun to see them get into it.
We got to have dinner with our friends Mindy and Mark and their kids who live in Indy. That was the highlight of the day for me, as I haven't seen Mindy in over two years! We're excited to be living closer and hope to see each other more often.
