Last weekend we received an unexpected visit from Joel's mom and brother Peter. They called on Friday to see if it would be ok for them to drive down and visit us. Of course we said yes, and they arrived around lunchtime on Saturday. It was great to see them and it was their first visit to Champaign.
We spent some time at the park after church on Sunday. Pete learned that the key to Norah's heart is to push her on the swings.
Anna took this picture of us. She insisted on taking the picture instead of being in it. She's pretty good at taking the picture, just not very good at letting you know WHEN she is taking the picture. But I thought this one turned out pretty well, considering the circumstances.
Thanks for coming to see us! Now it's our turn to head up to Minnesota...
