Today was the first day of school. Since we just moved back to Colorado earlier this summer, it is a new school and all new faces for the girls. They woke up this morning excited and ready to go!
Anna started second grade.
Norah started Kindergarten.
We are very thankful to live just a few blocks away from our school, so we get to walk everyday.
Joel and I were reminiscing about taking Anna to school on her first day of Kindergarten. He took her that day, and she cried quite a bit, and it was pretty traumatic for both of them. He nominated me to drop off Norah this morning. She did great! She walked right into her classroom, hung up her backpack, and sat down at her table.
When we picked up the girls this afternoon, they were both happy and thirsty and talked all the way home. And now as I type this, they are playing school. I think the first day was a success!
