We loved spending time with family for the long holiday weekend! My parents had been planning to come up to Denver, and about a week ago my sister Becky and her husband Chris (who live in CA) decided to come as well. We haven't all been together since last Thanksgiving, so it was great to see everyone. And it was their first time to see our new home and church in Denver.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather and hiked in Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
Here my parents are posing for the camera. Anna was one of the official photographers. I was hoping that would motivate her to hike for awhile.
She did pretty well, considering she doesn't really enjoy hiking up a mountain. We turned back a little sooner than the others, but we took lots of rest breaks. I'm all about the rest breaks!

Gathering wildflowers in a field. Norah is quite a collector. She still picks up rocks nearly every day, and this particular day it was rocks and flowers.
We did lots of other fun things too, like visiting Sara in her classroom at school, going out to eat, and shopping. The guys got to go golfing too. It was a great weekend, and I am thankful for the time we got to spend together!
