On Wednesday and Thursday this week we got a HUGE snowstorm in Denver. It snowed for two days straight and we ended up with about 20 inches at our house. Schools were closed, MOPS was cancelled, and we were snowed in for those two days. Well, not quite snowed in. We did get outside to play in the snow and had a few fun playdates with our neighbors.
Here is Joel and the girls sitting in the chairs on our back deck.
And now in the front yard.

So deep! The snow was up to Norah's waist, so she kept getting her boots stuck. They girls had lots of fun jumping and rolling in the snow.

We even busted out our little toboggan that Sara and Geoff gave Anna for Christmas when she was a baby. Joel made a mini sledding hill in the yard and the girls loved it.

That's a lot of snow for October. Today it's almost all melted in the front yard already. We'll see how the winter goes!
