We celebrated Joel's birthday as a family on Wednesday evening with pizza for dinner and ice cream cake for dessert. The girls wanted to have party hats, so I pulled out the ones that were left from their past parties. We thought Curious George was more appropriate for Daddy than Cinderella or Dora!
I remembered to get candles, but forgot we were all out of matches. So we sang Happy Birthday anyway, but Joel had to pretend to blow out candles.
Happy Birthday, Joel! We love you very much and hope you had a special day.
