The Boss side of our family met in Denver this year for Thanksgiving. The last time we were all together was at Christmas last year, so it was fun to see everyone and spend time together in beautiful Colorado.
One of the highlights for me was to see my friend Jenn. She and her husband Jonathan joined us for Thanksgiving dinner and we got to meet their sweet little baby, Natalie. Jenn and I have been friends since high school, and it was so good to be able to catch up with her!
Anna enjoyed showing off her reading skills. The girls even joined in The Game of Things this year, and they did really well.
One day we all went to the see the Muppet Movie. The girls were so excited to see these guys at the movie theater.
Going to see a movie in the theater is such a treat since we rarely do it. I wanted to get a picture of everyone, but there were so many of us we took up nearly a whole row!
After the movie we visited Yogurtland for the first time. My mom and Sara had been there before and knew the girls would love it. It's one of those places where you can pick as many flavors and toppings as you want, and then you pay by the ounce. So yummy! They are still talking about it.
It was fun for us to be back in Denver. It's funny how some things are still exactly the same, like the crew at the Apple Store where Joel used to work, but some things have changed, like the new excessively tall overpass at C-470 and Santa Fe. We were especially thankful to be able to spend time with family, since we don't get to see them as much as we would like to. We're already looking forward to next time!
