Yesterday we celebrated Anna's birthday with a few of her friends. She wanted to have a "pretend" slumber party. All the guests wore their pajamas and we did some activities that you might do at an actual slumber party, except for the spending the night part. It turned out to be a really fun party with lots of giggling and even some screaming, as you might imagine with seven little girls in our house!
We made doorknob hangers as the craft.
Playing hot potato in their jammies.
The birthday girl eating her ice cream sundae.

Since we didn't have time to watch an entire movie, Anna wanted to show her friends the slide show Joel made for her birthday. It is pictures from her life up to now. He friends giggled through the whole thing and I think it was fun for them to see pictures of Anna in her younger years.
The slumber party guests.

so fun. great idea for a slumber party without the slumber. :)
What fun! Your post made me go back and look through the pictures from Aubri's "Pseudo-slumber Party" 2 years ago. Great memories! We miss you guys. Hope things are going well for you. Tell Anna that her ol' friends Aubri and Rylynn send her a GREAT BIG HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY from CO!
