Yesterday we took a little road trip to Upland, Indiana to spend the day with our friends the Moser family. Drew is a hall director at Taylor University where Joel and I both went to school, and Joel grew up in Upland. So we go to spend time with good friends and also see show the girls some of the places that are part of our history as a family.
Our first stop was Ivanhoe's for lunch and ice cream!
Norah was so excited about her clown sundae. Apparently when Joel was a kid they gave you a free one of these if you brought in a good report card.
We spent most of the afternoon at Taylor Lake. The girls loved playing in the water and in the sand on the beach.
Here they are with life jackets on ready for a paddleboat ride with the dads.
We had such a fun day with the Mosers and hope to see them again soon! Here's a video of the launching of the boat. How many kids and dads can you fit in one boat? More than I expected!

What a great day you had! And we laughed as we watched the guys and kids float out on Taylor Lake. Hard to believe it is your kids now eating clown sundaes Joel! Thanks Hill for putting this together. MUM
