This year we spent the week of Christmas in Minnesota with the Newton Clan. The day before we began our road trip, we had our own "Christmas morning" at home. These robes were a gift from Granna and Papa.
The drive was pretty uneventful, but so cold! We didn't stop much because none of us wanted to get out of the car into the negative degree wind chill. And the girls were busy watching the entire Anne of Green Gables miniseries.
The girls made sugar cookies with Mum while Joel and I went to a movie.
Christmas Eve skype with Ben and Lindsey and their kids. At one point Peter called too so we were all together as much as we could be in three different places.
Christmas morning…a gift from Uncle Peter.
After Christmas dinner. The dolls joined us in their new clothes.
Christmas carols by the fire.
One day we ventured into St. Paul to go to the Science Museum of Minnesota. Then we are lunch at Mickey's. It's kind of a famous spot and has been in a few movies. The only one on the list I've seen is Mighty Ducks.
Really good food and a fun experience!
Norah is very serious about her ice cream, as usual.
We had a fun time together with a good mix of activity and down time. We really missed you Ben, Linds, Sam, Callie, Elisabeth, and Pete!
