Yesterday afternoon we kind of spontaneously decided to go on a hike. It was a beautiful fall day and we had been intending to head up to the mountains to see the fall colors. We decided on a place up in the foothills, so it was only a short drive from Denver: Lair O' the Bear park.
Our hike began along the water, and the girls loved being able to throw leaves in and watch the rapids take them away. We had been to this park before, back in 2009. This time we took a little bit different trail, but ended up in the same place. And when we saw this bench, I remembered that I had a picture of the girls sitting on it from last time.
They've changed a lot, haven't they?
But some things are still the same, like girls being goofy for the camera.
Here's a few more pictures from the hike.
It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, especially when the Broncos aren't playing until Monday!
