We spent Thanksgiving in Minnesota with the Newton Clan. Pops and Mum hosted all their kids and grandkids. It had been awhile since we were all together in the same place, so we really enjoyed that time together. And the girls had so much fun playing with their cousins!
Anna and Sam wearing their turkey hats we made.
The kids played in the snow a little bit, and they would have done more if they could have convinced one of the adults to go out there with them. It was a little too cold for my taste. I stepped outside long enough to snap a picture and that was enough for me.

Friday morning we left the kids with Mum and Pops and escaped to our favorite coffee shop in town, the Mocha Monkey. It was very nice to have a conversation without being interrupted!

Pops pulled the kids around their neighborhood on this sled. The kids loved it! Again, not my cup of tea. I was probably inside drinking tea at the time. Can you tell I don't like to be cold?
We were so thankful for safe travel, decent weather, and just for time together. We even got a family picture, the first one since we were all in Denver three summers ago! Thanks for a great weekend, Newtons.
