Anna's 5th Birthday

We celebrated Anna's 5th birthday this weekend. Papa and Granna came up from NM to join the party. Her actual birthday was on Wednesday, and we took her to pick out her very first Barbie doll, something she has been talking about for a long time. And on Friday morning before her party, we gave her another present-a bike!
It will take some practice, but we are really excited to get out and enjoy the warm weather on our bikes. Our driveway is a little steep, so we started out in the garage.
Waiting for the guests to arrive. So excited!
Mommy and the birthday girl.

Making necklaces with one of the party guests, Lauren. Anna wanted to invite all the girls in her class. It worked out perfectly because there are only four of them!
We planned to paint the girls' fingernails. My sister brought a foot bath that she borrowed from friend at it was a huge hit! The little girls loved soaking their hands and feet in the bubbly water.
Especially Norah. She got to test it out before the guests arrived. She was a little unsure at first, but once she got her feet in she said, "This is so relaxing." And we couldn't get her to take her feet out!
Waiting for Sara and me to paint their nails.
Time for cake!

Now everybody wants to put their feet back in the bubbles.
Anna, Norah, Ashley, Caitren, and Lauren. What a fun party.
