After our Disneyland adventures, we were ready for a day to relax, so we headed to the beach. They weather was a little chilly and the water was even chillier, but it was so fun to see the girls playing in the waves and in the sand. Here is one of many attempts at a family picture.
Anna absolutely loved the water. We couldn't get her out of it, even when her pants got soaked.

Here she is with Joel and Norah, sans pants.

Sara and me with Huntington Pier in the background. I'm safeguarding Anna's wet pants. This was one of those pictures where you just assume the photographer knows you don't want the pants in the picture. :)
The girls found a huge pile of sand to play in. They had a grand time climbing up and sliding down their "volcano."
We ate at Ruby's diner at the end of the pier. The sun had just started to come out as we were walking back to our car. But it was a fun day. Just the right amount of time at the beach.
