My parents took us all on vacation to San Diego last week. It was a great trip, and it came at the perfect time as we just moved into our new a few days before we left. We were ready for a vacation!
There was a hot tub at the house where we stayed, and the girls jumped in as soon as we arrived. Uncle Chris had a really cool waterproof cover for his iPhone, so we got this underwater shot.

On the first day my parents went with us to Legoland. Anna is so excited she smacked her sister in the head while posing for a picture.
Most of the rides were geared toward elementary aged kids, so they were perfect for our girls. But I think our favorite part was all of the amazing things made out of Legos.
And the girls loved driving these cars too.
Even though we got to go to two theme parks, I think our favorite part was being at the beach. The girls could have stayed there all day every day. Norah and Chris built a pretty impressive sand castle. He grew up on the Jersey shore, so he's kind of an expert.
Anna discovered that she loves boogie boarding. She caught on pretty quick and did not want to stop.
This is from our Sea World day. Joel wasn't feeling well, and since he was the official photographer I guess there are not many pictures. But we enjoyed several shows and some fun rides.
It was a little chilly that day, so I opted not to do this one. Geoff and I were the official camera/iPhone/sweatshirt holders.
One night we went out for a really nice dinner right on the beach. While the rest of us enjoyed gourmet steak and seafood dishes, the girls enjoyed the "best" chicken fingers and mac and cheese that they ever had.
This one is for Aunt Becky's desk in her classroom.
We love family vacations! Although Anna was pretty disgusted that I had her wear a dress.
More beach pictures. Our new favorite place.

looks like a perfect vacation!!! my kids would flip out if they got to go to legoland. benjamin clips the coupon out of every lego magazine he gets and asks if we can go because he has a free ticket. if only it was so free to get there. :) love the underwater shot of the girls. and tell Anna she looks very nice in her dress. so fancy. :)
