Anna turned 4 on Tuesday, but we had a party for her on Friday. This is kind of a funny picture because she just woke up from a nap but insisted on opening a present. So she's kind of got that groggy look, but I thought she looked so cute in her new princess dress!

Anna wanted to have a Tinkerbell Tea Party and invite some of her friends. My sister Becky, who lives in CA, was flying in for the event, and she had the idea to surprise Anna by dressing up as Tinkerbell. We told Anna that we wrote Tinkerbell a letter and invited her to the party, then Becky came to the door in her costume. Anna recognized her right away, but I think the other girls thought it was pretty fun.

Here's Tink playing "Ring Around the Rosie" with the girls.

Group shot.
Norah is eating fairy bread in her typical ladylike fashion.
Naturally, we served fairy bread at a Tinkerbell party. Anna loves this stuff, and it's so simple! Bread, butter, and sprinkles. That's all. There is a little boy in Anna's preschool class whose mother is from Australia, and he always brings this stuff for snacks. She said in Australia kids always have fairy bread at birthday parties. At their class Valentine's Day party, all the kids were eating fairy bread and didn't even touch the cupcakes. They love it! Try it. It's fun to make too.
Singing "Happy Birthday" and blowing out the candles.
Tinkerbell brought tatoos for everyone, so she helped put them on the girls.
How fun to have Tinkerbell there! Thanks, Becky! Next time maybe you should bring Chris and he can be Captain Hook! :)
Dancing like fairies.
It was Anna's first party with friends. I was so thankful to have my mom and sisters there to help. What a fun morning!
